MAKING SENSE OF OUR COMPLEX WORLD

An exploding population,
the decline of family values,
a scarcity of natural resources,
exponentially advancing technology,
the loss of community and trust,
the crowding of billions of people into small, dark, impersonal spaces,
and the calculated monopolizing of power, wealth and influence by the few self proclaimed elites, over the unsuspecting many, have made today's world far more complex, far more difficult to understand, and a much more dangerous place than anytime in the history of mankind....

"Houston, we have a problem."

For the majority of our adult lives, most of us have spent our days, months and years believing that the United States and its system of governing and leadership, would almost always make wise choices to keep its citizens safe and continue to lead the country so, “… that (our) government of the people, by the people,  (and, especially) for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”   We believed this during the sometimes violent protests of the 60’s and early 70’s, and the tumultuous turn of the 21st century.  We believed it so much so, that we deserved the label of the Silent Majority, content to let our leadership, whomever it was each time, to light and ‘right’ the way. Since then, however, our leadership has failed us.  Miserably.

They have steadily & persistently grown farther apart in their ideologies, digging their heels in deeper to a point where today they are at polar extremes, with only a vast wasteland of confused, disappointed and fearful citizens between them.   Socialists and Tea Party extremists, ignoring the fact that a large majority of its people are neither.  The citizens of our country, Americans, are split, confused, many are angry & increasingly polarized.  A house divided.  And, it’s not going to get better by anyone staying silent any longer.  It’s only going to get worse unless we, me and you and enough of us say, “Enough!”    How much worse, you ask?   Well, I wouldn’t check my imagination in the answer to that question….

It’s midway through the year of 2024 and following are the regularly recurring events that are capturing the attention and dividing the positions of a vast majority of the 335 million Americans, (and much of the 8 billion people trying to get by, to survive one more day.)

“In the past 3+ years, over 7 million immigrants have been allowed to enter the US illegally by the Executive branch of our government, including many thousands of criminals raping our women, supplying drugs, while spies & terrorists can easily repeat another 9/11 .”   Why?

“Today there is a very high probability of another worldwide power play to take control of our health, wealth, freedom and happiness with a manufactured ‘COVID-19’ like crisis.  You may recall waking up 4 years ago to mandates, government shutdowns and curfews declared by our government which caused untold and unnecessary suffering by millions of Americans, (and much of the 7 billion people on Earth) using the excuse of a virus that was promoted to create fear and obedience to whatever was ordered by those in power.   Why?”

“The United States and NATO are supplying the Ukraine with more sophisticated weapons to counter Russia’s military gains on the battlefield, challenging Russia into using tactical nuclear weapons to, what end:  justify an all-out nuclear WW III ?”

 

“ In Fact, Lots of Problems Including ...”

“There is a vocal & determined minority of people who are being allowed by government to promote, encourage & finance a forcible change in biology, the gender of any boy who thinks he wants to be a girl, & any girl who thinks she wants to be a boy.  Especially, minors.”

“The Executive branch of our government is blatantly misusing its authority and power to gain an illegal and unfair advantage over its political rivals, an illegal, unethical way to take out opponents without casting a single vote.”   If left unchecked and unpunished, we can be assured governmental authority will continue to be abused by whichever Party is in power, and against whomever they wish to suppress.  You.  Me.  Anyone.  And, for whatever they consider “…a matter of national security.  

“The loss of our personal privacy is a far bigger epidemic than the world has ever experienced, and it’s only going to get worse if we (the people) don’t do something about it.  Advancing technology makes the collection of our personal information easy, and recent Supreme Court decisions have ruled that corporations must turn over whatever the government deems vital in “the interest of the nation”.    So, the major corporations are collecting your personal information and turning it over to the government agencies that want to use it to control us.  You.  Me.  Our families…   Why do they need any more control over you and I than they had in 1975?   Why?”

“Nearly 40,000 people (among them over 37,000 Palestinian women and children) have been killed by Israel’s offensive in the 10 months since Hamas attacked and killed 1200 Israeli civilians.  And, the chances of this drawing in Iran, the United States and other unfriendly powers to a much more widespread and dangerous war, is growing every day.”

“Under the guise of concern for our health, many millions of people were forced, threatened, and coerced to be injected with an unsafe, even dangerous COVID-19 vaccine of dubious value, by nearly all of the governments of the world.   This was justified using fear, authority, incomplete and unscientific information and statistics indiscriminately, for the purpose of forcing people to take orders from pharmaceutical companies through the government leaders they bought.   Their self-serving actions caused physical, economic and psychological pain that is still felt by many today.”   Why?   Error in judgment?   Or, something worse?…

“Wake Up, America! The Clock Is Ticking….”

In more than 6,000 years of mankind’s efforts to rule our species in a somewhat civilized way that is generally acceptable to most of us, the closest we have come, the governance of America, is dangerously close to failing.  Failing ourselves, our species and, maybe even, life on Earth.  After nearly 250 years of hard work, pain, hope, much success and too many failures, the Great American Experiment now appears to be approaching the end of its run.  If not the end, it’s certainly at a defining crossroads of its future, and the future of self-rule of our democratic republic. 

“Outrageous!”   “Wildly exaggerated!”   “Why, we’ve faced overwhelming odds before, and saved the day.”   True,,…then.  But this time is different.

In the past, the most powerful, dominating nations, mostly on their own, represented only a small force among all of the nations and people of the world.     Because travel and communications were slow, the governing of people around the world was fragmented.  But, not so today.  Now, in the 21st century, travel and communications are approaching the speed of light while weapons, the tools of dominance, are so powerful they threaten the existence of mankind, maybe even life on Earth.  And, even more dangerously, nearly all of today’s dominating nations, forces and wealth, have aligned, have joined together in an attempt to rule all of mankind.

Today we have 2-3 major forces vying for control of land, sea, air, near space and our minds so they may dictate who lives and how.  NATO, with the US as the unquestioned leader of its 32 democratic-identifying countries representing 45% of the worlds GDP ($100 trillion).   The four BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China) at 26% of Earth’s GDP.    And, up for grabs are the remaining, less economically and politically aligned countries, with 29% of the world’s wealth to be coveted. 

To anyone who reads whatever source of information you care to believe, the indicators, the signs, the warnings are clear.   These major threats to freedom and peace are not going away.   Our government today is following the same strategies that have brought us to the doorstep of a nuclear world war.

"If it's to be...."

Yes.  We still have a good chance to bring enough people together to halt the continued dividing of our country.  And, to bring the vast majority close enough together to find ways to improve our lives, the lives of our children and grandchildren, and inspire others live in harmony

But, it will NOT be the politicians that will do it.  And, it will NOT be the billionaires or the mega billion dollar organizations lobbying for a new world order, who will improve our lives.  Almost all of them are looking out for themselves, first and foremost, as they have proved time and time again.  That has become very clear now. If it’s to be, it will be you and me, our families, our friends, our neighbors, and co-workers, and those within  our 6 degrees of separation, that will make it happen.  And, no one else.

We, the people, are sufficiently capable in abilities, determination and numbers, of understanding the problems our country is facing today.  And, we are open and willing to hear and consider positions and conditions that could solve those problems.  We are ready and able to take the necessary action that will place us, side by side, with the majority of Americans, in the respect for and pursuit of each person’s own brand of happiness. If it’s to be, we (enough of us that care) will have to do it, and will get it done.

The one critical thing we’re missing is …. the ‘silents’.    “As in the Silent Majority?”   Maybe.  But even if they are a silent minority there are enough, when added to those who have taken a position and willing to participate, to tip the scales.    “Who are the ‘silents’?”  I include those caring, reasonable citizens who, for whatever reason, do not discuss, do not explore, do not think independently, do not attempt to learn and who do not vote.  Who do not vote for principles and people to lead their nation safely through the most dangerous period in the history of mankind.

So, how do we get them to participate?                                                                                 Well, first we have to get their attention…
